The Gathering

Do you ever feel you’re not doing what you’re meant to be doing?
You know there’s more, and feel pulled to be a part of the shift that needs to happen.

But you fear taking the plunge.
If you rock the boat, you could get squashed.
Maybe you feel your dreams aren’t possible, that someone else does them, not you.
And what if you can’t do it?
And who are you to think you have something to say?

Are you ready to stop living behind a wall of fear?
To stop living with boxes, masks, and pretend?
Ready to be 100% yourself? To step into your true authenticity and power? To believe in yourself, and really accept all the parts of you?
To feel really confident?

We need you to step into your power now.
In all your beauty and your scars.

Join us for The Wild Women Gathering!

See what the Wild Women Rising magic is all about on this free weekend retreat in wild Nevada City, Nor Cal. Swim in the pond, and drop in with love catered meals, yoga, and massage. Connect with nature and yourself. Rest.

But also, the shifts….experience a room of strangers becoming vulnerable, intimate, and safe. With guidance and support, feel seen, held, and loved. From here, deep re-patterning is possible:

  • Awaken intuition and confidence to know your path and have the courage to follow it.
  • Experience a proven formula to overcome fear so you can share your gifts.
  • Unleash your wild woman warrior to ignite creativity, sensuality, and purpose.

The theme this year is Awakening.
Awakening to what you are being asked to do.
To get out of your own way, so you can become the unstoppable force of magic and power that you are.

We can’t waste any more time.

Wild Women Rising Alumni!

Come reignite your Wild Woman with a strong free dose of juicy WWR medicine.  Remember the magic, of the group, and in you. Reunite with old friends and frolic in the waters (not only the pond, but the gorgeous Yuba River is also near), reconnect over walks and meals, and receive a down-to-your-bones tune up around your lovability, power, magic, and why you are here.

Remember–or experience for the first time–what Wild Women Rising is like IN PERSON. Experience the snuggles, hugs, deep talks over meals, serendipitous moments, and dancing!

And bring your Wild Women Rising curious friends. Finally you can experience them experiencing for themselves what you’ve been talking about all this time.

Wild Women Rising 2023/2024 Cohort!

Let’s go! This is our first retreat and where you will meet the women you’ll journey with this year. We will have some time, just us, on Sunday, to be together and drop in. We can’t wait to be with you in person, to start to fall in love with each other and get this started!

Wild Women Rising Curious?

The Gathering is the best opportunity to experience the magic of Wild Women Rising before the year begins and doors close until December 2024. You will receive almost two months of Wild Women Rising content, essentially for free.

Experience almost two months of Wild Women Rising content, essentially for free:

Cultivate your Intuition

  • Gain deeper access to your intuition and learn how to use and trust it as a guide so you can be unshakable in your confidence that you know what and who are right for you.

  • Strengthen your faith in yourself to feel that your visions for life are completely possible and supported so you don’t waste any more time at the wrong job, in the wrong relationship, or spending too many hours of your precious life doing waste-of-time things.

  • Learn one of the most powerful tools to help you see the bigger, more meaningful story behind whatever you are going through so that you can make more empowered choices with your wise self as your guide.

Transform Negative Voices and Thought Patterns

  • I’ll be guiding you with psychological tools for emotional healing work to change your limiting beliefs and stories.

  • Learn an effective process for identifying, distancing, weeding, and transforming even the most subtle of negative voices

Bonus Workshops

Somatic Breathwork Journey

Somatic Breathwork is an embodiment experience. It takes you out of your thinking mind and into your body’s electrical network. It lets you release unneeded energy caused by repeating thoughts, feelings, and old narratives by discharging it out through your body. This release may be in the form of moving, shaking, yelling, crying, or laughing. Using the breath, you will engage your innate ability to heal and sweep out defenses, blockages, restrictions, or pains that hold you back from who you are and how you want to show up in this world. Alma participated in Wild Women Rising in 2020 and is a certified Somatic Breathwork facilitator.

Softening into Trust

Courtney will be offering a mini embodiment practice. It will be an opportunity to drop into our bodies and energetic fields. Using breath, visualization and movement, we will come back to ourselves and cultivate power and presence to be ourselves surrounded with and radiating deep love. Courtney participated in Wild Women Rising in 2021. She helped lead Wild Women Rising last year and will be a leader again for this year’s cohort.

Stand like an Oak: Activate your Wildest and Wisest Senses

“We still only know what we know: ‘The flavors of the peach and apricot are not lost from generation to generation. Neither are they transmitted by book learning’ (Ezra Pound).  The rest is hearsay. There is strength, freedom, sustainability and pride in being a practiced dweller in your own surroundings, know what you know.” – Gary Snyder

Join us for movement and sensory exercises to deepen embodiment, heart perception and connection with nature, ourselves and others.  Knowledge of place and relationships with the plant and animal beings of that place accumulate with practice and with spending time on the land. We offer core routines that build deep connections to nature and a deep knowing so that you become a “practiced dweller in your own surroundings.” Erin Reschke was in the original nine woman cohort of Wild Women Rising, in Florie’s living room in 2017, and Megan Cannon was an assistant leader in 2018.

This is the first, the wildest and the wisest thing I know: that the soul exists and is built entirely out of attentiveness – Mary Oliver.

Accessible Yoga

Whitney is a trauma-informed, fat, sometimes-femme, always-accessible yoga teacher. She guides students in approaching their practice through a lens of curiosity and self-responsibility. Through breath, movement, stillness, kindness, self-study and more, she meets the student right where they are and co-creates a practice that fits their unique needs. Attending her class has been described to feel like a consensual hug and a place where showing up is safe for people of all walks of life. Whitney was a Wild Women Rising leader for the past two years.

Bead a Healing Strand

We’ll contemplate what we need to hear to step into our full power as Wild Women Rising and create a strand to use as a meditation guide with the messages we choose to tell ourselves. Bring a favorite bead or beads you’ve been wanting to use or select from the beads available. We’ll create a 7 inch strand to keep in our pocket, always available, to remind us that we are Wild Women Rising! Karen Sandstrom McVey is a Wild Woman Rising leader alumni (2021) and life coach, who enjoys gardening, crafting, and supporting women and men on their journey of growth and healing.

Mini Music Jam

Novice musicians welcome! Bring your ukulele, guitar, voice, tambourine, rattle, booty, etc. Mary will be teaching the basics of jamming together in a way that is accessible and fun. Whether you can harmonize or sing off key, this workshop is for anyone who loves to sing, dance, and make music. Mary Caridi participated in Wild Women Rising in 2020 and 2021; she was an assistant leader last year and will be a full leader for the 2023/2024 cohort.

I encourage breath and healthy communication throughout sessions, with safety, mutual understanding, and consent at the forefront. I encourage my clients to arrive at sessions exactly as they are; I like to ask how they are doing physically, and emotional or logistical check-ins are always welcomed. The more information I have about how the client is doing, the more I can tailor the massage to what is currently occurring in their life. I offer a spa-like massage that is catered to stress reduction while promoting relaxation.
